GRAND SERENDIB HOTEL, KANDY

This luxurious-style boutique hotel is in the heart of Sri Lanka’s cultural hub. A peaceful spot steps away from the sacred temple of tooth relic and Kandy Lake. This project was successfully interior designed and built by our Team Concept Interiors.

Understanding the value of the diverse nature of the outer context, a dramatically played holistic design was created in this highly attractive destination point at the heart of Kandy. This identical elegant ambiance was inspired by the architectural character of ancient Kandiyan art where the interior itself has been created in an abstract way depicting the cultural character. Each and every space was designed very specifically and keenly to maintain the continuity of the language created.

This enduring abstract of Kandyan traditional character has been thoughtfully translated into several elements throughout the hotel, from authentic floor coverings inspired by the patterns, and painted artwork on the ceilings & walls featuring, contemporary timber design details depicting the cultural value, to the overall external outer look.
